Electronic claims submission is the most efficient and timely method of processing and payment of claims. OhioHealthy accepts electronic claims through AllScripts (Payerpath), our electronic transaction vendor, or any clearinghouse that connects with AllScripts.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)

OhioHealthy offers direct deposit of payments through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).  EFT is a safer, more secure, and more efficient method of claims payment.  Clean claims are processed and paid within an average of seven days when submitted electronically and payment made through EFT.

New Claims Platform for 2022

Important! New claims platform coming to OhioHealthy in 2022

Effective January 1, 2022, OhioHealthy will transition to a new claims platform and we want you to be ready!

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT OUR CLAIMS DEPARTMENT RECEIVES ALL CLAIMS FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2021 NO LATER THAN MARCH 31, 2022.

ALL CLAIMS PROCESSING INCLUDING INITIAL CLAIMS, CORRECTED CLAIMS, APPEALS AND RESUBMISSIONS NEED TO BE RECEIVED BY THIS TIME IN ORDER TO ENSURE THEY CAN BE FULLY PROCESSED. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN DELAYED PROCESSING

2021 claims submission:

  • the current EDI number for electronic submission is 54154
  • the current claims mailed address for paper claims is P.O. Box 5806, Troy, MI 48007-5806
