Providers are required to submit claims, prior authorizations, and associated documents using our electronic data interchange (EDI).
Electronic claims submission is the most efficient and timely method of processing and payment of claims. OhioHealthy accepts electronic claims through Change Healthcare, our electronic transaction vendor, or any clearinghouse that connects with Change Healthcare.
*Update as of 4/1: Due to the impact of the Change Healthcare cybersecurity issue, there has been a delay on claims processing recently, effecting the entire healthcare industry. Previously held claims are now beginning to be released in a staging format to not overwhelm the system. This means that you should begin to see your claims processed over the next three to four weeks. We thank you for your understanding and patience on this matter.
