OhioHealth is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit, charitable, healthcare outreach of the United Methodist Church. As central Ohio’s largest health system, OhioHealth delivers care close to home for millions of Ohioans through 12 hospitals and more than 200 care sites covering 47 counties. We are a tight-knit family of physicians, associates and volunteers guided by our shared values of Compassion, Excellence, Stewardship, Integrity and Inclusion, as well as our mission to improve the health of those we serve.
Established in 1888, Sentara Healthcare is a not-for-profit organization providing services to more than two million residents in Virginia and North Carolina. Sentara provides health coverage plans, home health and hospice services, physical therapy and rehabilitation services, and specialized services, including Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance, which, in 1982, became the region's first air ambulance.
Sentara operates more than 100 sites, including 10 acute care hospitals, nine outpatient care campuses, seven nursing centers, three assisted living centers, and about 380 primary care and multispecialty physicians.
